Arc Padstow are pleased to present their first exhibition The Dutchy. The Dutchy is inspired by the artistic history of the region with each of the nine artists having a unique connection to the area. Furthermore looking to the history of Cornwall we have four artists, Andy Harper, Felicity Mara, Clare Dudeny and Bobbyee Fermie who have all had studios at Porthmeor Studios, St Ives, which are the oldest artistic studios in Britain having worked with artists such as Barabra Hepworth and Francis Bacon. The Dutchy includes artist working across a range of different mediums from Lily German responding to the geology and coastal forms of the UK through the ceramics.
